陈燃的外号叫“燃哥”。
“因为他们觉得我在片场很像个爷们儿。”她咧嘴一笑，露出几颗珍珠般的秀丽牙齿。
如今都流行“女汉子”—“范爷”、“迅哥儿”、“赵导”……女明星都纷纷多了一个男性化的标签。但当明星确实是体力活—女明星要把自己当男人，男明星要把自己当机器人。表面看起来光鲜亮丽养尊处优娇滴滴，其实满不是那么一回事。片场有多辛苦，谁去谁知道。能混出来的演员，都是劳模。
陈燃演过的戏还不算吃苦，但也落了个“燃哥”的称号。大概是因为她性格里有不少男孩子气。
她和韩国男明星朴施厚一起合作了新电影《香气》，拍到中途，朴施厚也过来问她：“为什么他们都叫你燃哥？”他们俩语言不通，一切交流由翻译作为媒介。陈燃笑而不语，助理赶紧替她作答：“就是粉丝给陈燃起的一个昵称。”
“其实是演了《爱在春天》之后粉丝开始这么叫我的，因为觉得我挺爷们儿的。他也不知道燃哥是什么意思。”陈燃又笑。
朴施厚在片场都比她温柔。“第一次见面他挺斯文的，有一些害羞。慢慢接触下来，我觉得他还是挺可爱的，挺简单单纯的一个人。”
因为语言的原因，一开始他们只是收工的时候会互相打个招呼，“他也都很客气，会带一些韩国的食品过来跟大家分享，而且他粉丝挺多的，现场会收到很多好吃的东西，他也都会跟我们一起分享。其实接触还算多，因为我们两个人的戏份是最多的，但是聊天就比较少，因为我们语言不通嘛。在片场我也挺爷们儿的，他反而是挺温柔的。刚好是两个反差，哈哈。”
陈燃向我们回忆在片场的趣事。“有一场戏，演完他们都笑话我，因为我本人性格挺男孩儿的，性格也不是很温柔的女生，那场戏就是他要走了，我要感觉依依不舍，导演就要求我用手去摸男主角的头发，很温柔的动作。但是我的手看上去就很粗糙，感觉又很硬，完全不温柔。他们就说你可不可以温柔一点。导演还上来示范。旁边的人都在笑。后来几天他们都在学我的动作。”她特别无奈。
“因为我不拘小节啊，我的手一直都是这样，我也不太管它，加上我又比较爱运动，所以就会很像男孩的手。做了保养还会好一些，如果不做保养，真的是……”她耸了耸肩，表示“随它去吧”。
“我从小就挺臭美的”
陈燃自称是个乐观主义者—从来没见过她不高兴的样子。每次跟她聊天，她永远是笑眯眯的，细长眼睛拉成两道弯月牙，说话间会没心没肺地大笑起来，让人距离感顿消。曾经有人说，在聚会里，陈燃永远能成为最引人注意的女孩。也许就是因为她心无芥蒂，如孩童一般的天真直率。
“其实我私底下跟朋友聊天都特别轻松。但是只要面对媒体，面对一大群人，就会感觉自己变得不善于表达，也不知道为什么。但是……其实也无所谓啦，也许这才是自己真实的一面。”她顿时又是一副“无所谓”的模样，烦恼来得快去得也快。
她是一个对很多事情无所谓的女孩，或者说，没有畏惧。曾经独自一人跑到北京考电影学院，家里只有父亲支持，她人生地不熟，也坚持下来了。
“表演是我的一个梦想。”她说。
更多人认识陈燃，则是从她在巴黎时装周上一个令人惊艳的亮相开始。“第一次去巴黎时装周，参加Chloé的秀，去选衣服，当时我选了一套连体衣去看秀，可能效果挺好的，大家就纷纷报道啊。当时法国《VOGUE》的老大也过来跟我交流。”她的微笑里带着一丝成就感。
她从此被誉为中国的“IT GIRL”—虽然她从来不以此自居。“对我来说，时尚就是穿着漂亮的衣服，打扮得美美的，跟大家一起分享。”她许多看起来随意而又与众不同的装扮，时常迎来一片赞赏。
“我觉得是自己慢慢培养起来的，首先要喜欢这个东西，其次就是得臭美，（笑）其实我从小就对这些很感兴趣，会看很多国外的时尚的画报，上面有一些衣服可能当时大家觉得还是不太能接受，但我就会去买面料，找裁缝来做。我从小就挺臭美的。”她如此自嘲地解释自己敏锐的时尚感知。
她总让人感到有些“与众不同”。比如一张活动的照片里，其他女明星清一色的肤白胜雪，独独她一张小麦色的脸。“我之前也挺白的。”她笑道，“现在就慢慢变黑，是我故意晒的。我觉得每个阶段都不一样，以前我也有过喜欢白的阶段，但是现在我的思想和生活方式发生改变了吧，我觉得那种黑黑的肤色也挺美的。加上我现在又很喜欢运动，一切大自然的东西我都很喜欢，所以就把自己晒黑了，而且也挺健康的。”
她酷爱运动，尤其是户外运动。她之前参加了华盛顿的女子马拉松比赛，回来感觉不过瘾，又报名了台北的马拉松。
其实她只是想考验自己的意志。“跑到中途的时候我真的觉得好累，我要跑不动了。想要放弃。但是看着周围还有很多女生在跑。其实每个人都会有这么一个心理过程，就是一开始跑的时候觉得还没什么，到了特别累的时候就会想，天啊我为什么要参加这个比赛。一直在拷问自己，能不能坚持下去。但是当你真的坚持跑完的时候，就会觉得，哇，特别有成就感。”
“我也是一个乐观主义者”
Q：前阵子《香气》拍完了，可以聊聊这部电影吸引人的看点吗？
A：这个电影已经拍完了，正在做后期，相信很快就能跟大家见面了。这是一部有一点童话色彩的浪漫都市爱情轻喜剧，因为里面有跨国的恋情，也有一些文艺小清新的感觉。吸引我的是剧本，这个故事，因为里面的男女主角语言不通，是很难沟通的，只能依靠眼神、肢体语言来表达自己的感情。
Q：你在里面是什么样的角色？
A：是一个广告公司的职业女性，是个女强人的角色。
Q：你跟男主角配合还算顺利吗？
A：还算顺利，我们配合得很好。
Q：最初电影是怎么找到你当女主角的？
A：就是他们那边找到我的公司，知道有这个戏和这个角色，然后公司给他们提供了我的资料，后来就见了导演，一切都很顺利。
Q：一开始就知道男主角是朴施厚吗？
A：对，一开始就知道，因为他定得最早，他进组也最早。
Q：你在发布会上还跟他亲密互动，不会担心传出绯闻吗？

Q：戏中两个男演员，朴施厚和安琥，哪种类型的男孩子更容易让你心动？
A：还是朴施厚这个角色吧，因为安琥那个角色是比较张扬的男孩，我还是比较喜欢内敛一些的男生。
Q：你曾经跟这种类型的男生交往过吗？
A：没有唉……（笑）所以一直都还挺期待的。不过还好能演戏，所以一直都可以尝试不同的感觉。
Q：你在电影杀青后又开始马不停蹄地投入时尚行业的工作，是非常想念吗？
A：也不是啦，因为之前比较专注在拍戏，所以时尚这边很多工作就没做，现在拍完戏有时间了，所以有时尚的工作也就可以做了。
Q：你在表演和时尚行业都有所涉猎，这两者在你心中分别是什么样的位置？
A：表演拍戏对我来说是一个梦想吧，也算是一个有挑战性的工作，也希望能有一些代表性的作品。时尚这边，可能自己慢慢也有一些稍微成熟一些的想法，我也很喜欢，所以工作起来也会容易一些。所以接下来这两年会把重心放在电影这边。
Q：时尚最令你着迷的是什么？表演最令你着迷的又是什么？
A：时尚令我着迷的地方，我觉得就是可以穿得漂亮，美美的，也可以跟大家一起分享。表演的话，可能有时候你遇到好的导演好的剧本好的角色，好的感觉，就会感觉特别兴奋，特别过瘾。
Q：你觉得自己是个“野女孩”吗？
A：我觉得有些方面可能是吧，比如我喜欢大自然，喜欢运动，喜欢自由。
Q：你一直给人很有活力的感觉，你平时酷爱什么样的运动？
A：只要是室外的、健康的运动，我都会很喜欢。我一直都在运动。
Q：前不久你参加了华盛顿的女子马拉松，为什么会想要参加那个比赛？
A：因为我自己一直在健身，当时是品牌找到我，让我跑第一个10公里，我也想看看自己能不能接受这样的挑战，所以就参加了。我之前从来没有参加过。
Q：你是如何坚持跑完的？

Q：你对自己最自信的一点是什么？对自己的什么不够自信？
A：最自信的就是我比较阳光，比较真诚。不够自信的，就是可能在媒体采访，在面对很多人的时候，我不是一个善于表达的人。我私底下跟朋友其实很善于交流，但是……其实也无所谓啦，也许这才是自己真实的一面。
Q：你认为“健康”的女性是什么样的？
A：我觉得健康女性首先得有一个健康的心理，一个自信的人，真诚，很快乐，也很容易快乐。
Q：你觉得自己具备了哪些理想中“健康”的特质？
A：每个人都会有一个成长的过程，我不能说自己现在已经完全达到了自己对“健康”的要求，也会有很多不足，但我会乐于接受别人对我的建议，我觉得这是对我的帮助。我也不会害怕别人对我的恶意和诋毁。我也是一个乐观主义者。
