oh…I simply LOVE Hansik (Korean food) but too many trips to Korea spoilt my palatte for authentic Hansik taste as their food outside Korea is not a good and fresh as the ones in Korea but it's still better than nothing^^ Kimchi & Kimchi Ramen has been part of my staple diet for more than a decade now besides regular visits to the local Korean restaurants here when I miss Hansik^^ Talking about it…my mouth is drooling again over my recent Hansik expedition in Korea…555

No lah... its just that Korean food is closer to Chinese food in taste compared to Japanese food that I used to love. I was introduced to it by my female Korean supervisor in my previous work place as an auditor then. First dish was Ginseng Chicken and I fell in love with it. Subsequently I like to eat bulgogi but stick to pork or chicken as I don't eat beef. ^^ I haven't been to Korea leh... my hubby not interested to go there leh.... how to convince him har?
ReplyDeleteI agree with you^^…I used to love Japanese food a lot!…but since I tried alot of authenic Korean cuisine…it has more flavour and I love the way Korean eat alot of fresh vegetables as wraps! You must try the famous "black pork" in Jejudo^^
DeleteThe best time to visit Korea is Spring, Autumn and Winter and never go during Summer or else you will come home sceaming at Mei Park due to the heat which is worse than Singapore and Malaysia. Depends on your better half preference…please do go on a package tour for your 1st visit for language barrier and I'm sure you'll return on your own later^^ For city :: Seoul, for island romantic getaway :: Jejudo, for coastal city and fresh seafood :: Busan.I promise you will love the Land of the Morning Calm!^^
