Summary (& opening paragraph) : "Scent", first Sino-South Korean joint cooperative movie with a theme based on the sense of smell will be screening on August 15. China's Queen of fashion, Chen Ran, and Korea popular idol, Park Si Hoo, are the lead actress and actor in the movie that is directed by a female award winner of Hong Kong Award for Young Directors, Director Zeng Cuishan. This is also Chen Ran's first movie role as the lead actress. The movie, with sense of smell as clues, showcase the turbulence of transnational relationships. It is also described as the fashion version of "Scent of a Woman".
电影《香气》讲述的是两个不同国籍的为情所伤的人偶然相遇，从陌生到“同居”，因为一只意外闯入的信鸽而产生分分合合的纠葛情感。电影中，陈燃饰演的朱俐是一位广告公司的公关总监，朴施厚饰演的则是一名韩裔室内设计师。由于异国语言沟通的障碍和对情感的迟疑顾虑，两个本性率真的人之间产生了一些误解和隔阂，但最终还是因为熟悉的“爱的味道”找回了彼此。
The movie tells the story of the two lead characters of different nationalities, having been hurt in love, meet by accident. From strangers to "cohabiters", all due to a messenger pigeon that created the emotional entanglement. Chen Ran act as the Director of Public Relations for an advertising company, Julie, while Park Si Hoo is the Korean interior designer, Kang In-joon. Due to their foreign language barrier and fear of falling in love again coupled with their frank nature, some misunderstandings and estrangement resulted between them. But ultimately it was the familiar "scent of love" that brought them back to each other.
